Mouzon Map - Oppenheimer Editions

Henry Mouzon’s most notable work is his 1775 map of the Carolinas titled “An Accurate Map of North and South Carolina With Their Indian Frontiers” which renders the region with such exacting detail that the map was used by major military commanders, including George Washington, during the American war for independence. The Oppenheimer Editions Mouzon Map is an exact replica of copy in The Charleston Library Society’s collection. Issued in a limited edition of 200, the map is an important piece of American history.
