About Elliot’s Best – The Field Museum Edition

Produced in collaboration with Chicago’s Field Museum, Elliot’s Best offers the crème de la crème of Daniel Giraud Elliot’s work. Featuring images from his folios on birds of paradise, cats, and pheasants, this collection is uniquely produced from the original hand-colored lithographs in the collection of The Field Museum’s Mary W. Runnells Rare Book Room.

The prints are exact replicas and faithfully reproduce the incredible detail and color for which the original prints are famous. Each sheet is blind embossed with the official Field Museum stamp on the bottom left and the Oppenheimer Editions’ stamp on the bottom right. Every print is numbered and stamped on the back with the signature of the president of the Field Museum. This museum-authorized edition is limited to only 500 of each print.
